“The tripod was actually a GorillaPod Focus wrapped around the side of the basket of the balloon. I normally use a TVC-34L and BH-55 LR but my wife and I are travelling all over the world for the year and space is a definite issue, hence the GPod. It’s a surprisingly sturdy combo with the BH-30 LR II. I’ve taken 30 second exposures with the Canon 70-200mm/f2.8L IS II without any vibration or movement (provided I use the L84 lens plate).”
