Our latest film in the series features Joshua Snow, a Moab-based multimedia artist and landscape photographer. Josh’s journey is one of transformation and creativity. Originally from upstate New York, Josh began his career as a mechanical engineer. Weighing over 400 lbs at his heaviest, he decided to embark on a life-changing path, starting with hiking and waterfall photography. This passion for the outdoors eventually led him to Moab, Utah, where he made the leap into full-time photography.
Josh is known for his vibrant, whimsical, and thought-provoking landscape imagery. His highly technical but playful approach combines meticulous compositions with rich colors, creating works that evoke a deep sense of experience rather than just a single moment in time. His unique style has earned him a devoted following and a reputation for offering immersive photography workshops, which have taken him on the road for months at a time in his hand-built adventure van.
