Isn’t the plate going 90 degrees the wrong way on this head? On the bracket I bought from you for my D800, if i were to mount it to this tripod, the lens would be pointed to the left or right of the direction that the head tilts.
You’ll use a rail like MPR-CL to mount left/right camera plates and give precise fore/aft sliding and positioning for balance. Proper balance is key for getting the most out of the beautifully designed counterbalance system.
